[eclipse-pmc] Request to downport the setting to open images in Eclipse

Hi,

via the long outstanding bug
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=155323 we now open image
files in the Eclipse browser.

The change did not involve any code changes, only a new editor
association. See

User could do this already manually.

I use it since a while via the 4.7 daily builds and it is super useful to me.

I request permission to downport it to 4.6.1 from the PMC.
