Here is the status from Platform UI.

- Lots of PR triage done in the last week.
- Team focussed on PR fixing.  85 open PRs flagged for RC1.  31 RC1 PRs fixed already
- Backed out of half-baked editor management changes (editor list drop-down, editors view, and pref for tab compression).  Will revisit editor management for Eclipse 2.2.
- Still feature work to do on Show In... (bug 30002)
- Ready to release support for combining cool items.
