[eclipse-dev] Creating debian packages

Hello,

i'm new to this list and i couldn't find any mails about debian linux in
the archive. Hope, i'm not off-topic in this list.

I'm using debian linux on my system and i'm developing java apps with
eclipse. Now i want maintain a debian package of eclipse but i don't
know who i must ask for the permission to create these packages.

Excuse my bad english... :-)
