Re: [ecf-dev] tutorial idea: OSGi remote services for existing services

Fir Github I would suggest reading and filing issues in a repo. Mediawiki is also a good idea. They have a nice API sandbox that will definitely speed up development of such a tutorial.

Hi folks,

Open source application would be a great suggestion.IMHO when it comes to tutorial i think it need to be more simple and easy to understand it work flow caz i had that experience when i was begin to work with remote services. in that time i would really happy see some tutorials consist with applications that really familiar with me(like gmail , facebook , twitter even though they are not opensource we all know the anatomy of these applications).caz it help novice developers to understand the remote services after pretty much less effort.

Thanks,

regards,
Sakith.

Yeah, I don't see why not.

They have several APIs, which one(s) would be most instructive?

I'd rather go with something that is open source like e.g. Bugzilla or
Mediawiki. That has many installations which won't suddenly disappear
like Twitter has.

Good point. Any specific suggestions?

Scott
