Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] 2022-09 Participation

Wayne,
When I reconcile the project information in the simrel.aggran
just now, I find these discrepancies:
- Eclipse EMF 2.31.0 != 2.30.0
- Eclipse EMF Services emf-validation-1.13.2 != 1.13.1
- Eclipse Linux Tools 8.8.0 != 8.7.0
- Eclipse MDT XSD (XML Schema Definition) 2.31.0 != 2.30.0
- Eclipse Oomph 1.26.0 != 1.25.0
- Eclipse Project 4.25.0 != 4.24.0
- Eclipse Remote Application Platform 3.22.0 != 3.21.0
- Eclipse Xtext 2.28.0 != 2.27.0
Some of them folks have already responded to your email. For
EMF, XSD, and Oomph I created the records just today, hence the
newer information here.
The only other potential oddity is that WindowBuilder has this
release scheduled 3 days after the 2022-09 release is scheduled
and I'm not sure if they plan to contribute their release to
SimRel for 2022-09:
https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/tools.windowbuilder/releases/1.10.0
Also note that PDT is not disabled. We'd not be able to build
the PHP product without that. DLTK is also not disabled; PDT
depends on it, so we can't really disable it. I suspect there is
confusion between the *.aggrcon overall being disabled versus the
*.aggrcon containing a feature that is disabled. Perhaps some
script just looks for enabled="false" in the resource as a whole
rather than just on the root element...

Ed

Greetings folks!
Please have a look to ensure that I've captured the release
version of your project correctly. If you're contributing a
new release, please be sure to create the release record.
You may notice that Maven Integration for Web Tools
Platform is dropped from the project list. That project was
terminated and its resources were merged into Maven
Integration.
Some anomalies that I've noticed:
- The Eclipse Platform release record has not been created
yet;
- Eclipse ACTF's aggrcon is disabled;
- Eclipse PDT's aggrcon is disabled; and
- Eclipse DLTK's aggrcon is disabled.
Can a committer from Eclipse Platform please create the
release record?
Regarding the disabled contributions... Can a
representative from the corresponding project committers
please let us know if you are engaged working on getting these
contributions back into an enabled state?
If your project is contributing a new major or minor
release to 2022-09 and you haven't engaged in a release or
progress review in the year leading up to your release date,
please engage with the EMO ASAP.
Remember that, regardless of whether or not a review is
required, any intellectual property included in any release
must be fully vetted. If you have not already done so, I
recommend that you check out the Eclipse Dash License Tool to
identify any gaps in the vetting of your third-party
dependencies; look especially at the
Automatic IP Team
Review Requests feature.
Thanks,
Wayne
