Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Attention hipp3 users!!!

Just to be clear, by RCPTT, I mean, the RCPTT dependencies that are being downloaded as part of the Trace Compass builds, not the RCPTT builds themselves.

I wiped out a few workspaces for genie.tracecompass. I also noticed that RCPTT is using *a lot* of disk space in the maven repo, 13GB/workspace because it downloads a new snapshot every day (or more!). I added in the shell script to delete this folder every build so that the workspace will only contain one copy of the snapshot.

Hopefully this helps!

Greetings folks,

We're running into disk usage issues on hipp3. We don't have a formal
quota system, so we're relying on you (our beloved reasonable
committers) to please keep disk space in check.

Can the projects below clear out unnecessary builds and workspaces so
that there are no service interruptions to hipp3?

204G    genie.capella
15G     genie.eclipselink
15G     genie.egf
50G     genie.geomesa
21G     genie.kura
47G     genie.ldt
19G     genie.rcptt
29G     genie.stardust
159G    genie.tracecompass
37G     genie.udig
34G     genie.xtext

We are working on new storage systems and technologies to prevent such
project interference. But in the meanwhile, we need all projects to play
nice with our scarce resources.

Thanks!

Denis
