Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Gerrit/bugzilla mail queues issues?

I'm not sure how you're expecting to see this email reply, but we have a very large email queue that is waiting for your email server to accept.

Some emails are going through, like this one, after a 126,000 second delay:
Sep 2 10:02:26 dev3 postfix/smtp[6029]: 724A62DD46B: to=<l(snip)@gmx.de>, relay=mx01.emig.gmx.net[212.227.17.5]:25, delay=126445, delays=126418/16/0.38/11, dsn=2.0.0, status=sent (250 Requested mail action okay, completed: id=0MHMyt-1ZRxwa48wd-00E78P)

For everything else, this is what I see:
Sep 2 10:07:05 dev3 postfix/qmgr[3165]: 9283D2DD139: to=<l(snip)@gmx.de>, relay=none, delay=8905, delays=8899/5.9/0/0, dsn=4.0.0, status=deferred (delivery temporarily suspended: host mx00.emig.gmx.net[212.227.15.9] refused to talk to me: 421-gmx.net (mxgmx002) Nemesis ESMTP Service not available 421-Service unavailable 421-Reject due to policy violations. 421 For explanation visit http://postmaster.gmx.com/en/error-messages?ip=198.41.30.200&c=poli)

This typically happens when an email provider throttles how much mail a single mail server can send to it. Since you're not the only .gmx.de user on our site, they are probably perceiving us as a threat, or spamming them.

Best solution is to ask them to either whitelist 'mail.eclipse.org' or increase their thresholds for our mail host.

Hi,

I'm not receiving, or receiving only partly Gerrit / Bugzilla mails in the last two days. Is this seen by anyone else / known issue / addresed?

Kind regards,
