Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Eclipse SDK plugin and Luna rc1

I wonder if it's getting confused with the product IU that get's created for the SDK. It has the same name. In fact I was going to try and figure out how you did that since category.xml files usually only support bundles and features, not these magic product IUs. The workflow is so much nicer if the product is available in the p2 UI.

Now I've only seen them in the Eclipse project downloads, not in /releases. And they have the ids: org.eclipse.sdk.ide. If that isn't what you're referring to, then never mind :).

I'm not sure that bundle is ever in the downloadable "standard package". Have you found it there in the past?
It is the "branding bundle" for the "Eclipse SDK" ... and the "Eclipse Standard" package would have it own branding bundle.
What do you need it for? (I only ask, to know what to recommend to help you).
There might be confusion between "Eclipse Standard" and the previously provided "Eclipse Classic" ... they are not quite the same thing.
Eclipse Classic was literally the "Eclipse SDK", but "Eclipse Standard" has a few things added, so is a new, different "product".

Hello Markus,

I'm looking for the bundle org.eclipse.sdk_4.4.0.qualifier. It is not
available in the eclipse/plugin folder of Eclipse Luna i downloaded from
https://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/technology/epp/downloads/release/luna/RC1/eclipse-standard-luna-RC1-win32.zip.
So i tried the command ss org.eclipse.sdk in OSGI console and there is
no result.

The Feature org.eclipse.sdk is not available too in the
eclipse/feature.

So i will wait for RC2.

Best regards,
