I recently switched from Jet to FreeMarker and find it easier to use. Also the Android project wizards use FreeMarker templates under the hood. Jet seems to be in maintenance mode.

JET is part of EMF somewhere (probably EMF Code Generation/UI).  I get it when I install the EMF SDK
