Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Kepler is GO!

Hi David,

I'm just an ordinary plugin/rcp developer and run my builds against the p2 repo ;-)

Like you said one can get around this problem by simply adding the ecf-p2 repo. I justed wanted to give a short notice that something is missing.

In the end I think we need to investigate why some ecf stuff is missing from time to time

Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. .... sounds like you didn't test 'staging'. Until today,
/releases/kepler was a composite with 3 RCs, but not RC4, which was only
at /releases/staging. Which is what people were asked to test against.
And now /releases/kepler is just one repo (RC4 aka staging). The other
RCs have been disconnected from composite and will be removed soon.

Sincerely sorry for the "last minute" change in an earlier RC, but ... I
know others who "missed" it being at ../releases/staging and they were
able to adjust. If you need help "recovering", open a cross-project bug
and I'll give what advise I can. You likely just have to get from ECF
repo, if you can't move to httpclient4. (And, FYI, this is why we
suggest that projects "include what you need", don't count on someone
else providing it coincidentally). I'm not sure if you are talking from
the point of view a release-train participant, or someone who just
happened to be using it as a convenient "source of everything"?

Thanks,

Now this repo misses at least
"org.eclipse.ecf.provider.filetransfer.httpclient" which was in the repo
at this location at least until yesterday!
