Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Unexpected issues with our M6 build. Buckminster change ?

Builds are running OK again now. The shared Buckminster installation is still read-only (and should remain so). Please let me know if you have any more issues.

Hi Thommas,

Thank you very much for the info.

I'll keep an eye on this list for your signal ;)

note: any related bugzilla is also welcome.

Cheers,
Adolfo.

Hi Adolfo,

We're trying to figure out why the shared Buckminster installation is
causing various problems. I discovered that the Buckminster installation
was no longer read-only which doesn't seem like a good idea, so as a
first step, I made it read-only and that's probably what's causing your
current problem. I'm not sure why that is though, as our own builds
continue to run fine from Hudson.

We're in progress of finding this out, so please be patient. I'll get
back to this list with more info.

Hi All,

Today, I'm having some issues to complete our M6 build. I've tried
several configurations (build types, nodes in which run the job) and
all fail with the same cause:

INFO: The SSL proxy is enabled in the preferences but disabled in the
system settings
java.lang.IllegalStateException: Shared profile Buckminster not found.
Terminating xvnc.
Archiving artifacts
Recording test results

Further investigation tells me the following

drwxr-sr-x 4 thallgren common 4096 2013-03-18 10:34 buckminster-4.2

Which looks like a 30 minutes ago change.

Could I get some information about these changes in the buckminster4-2
eclipse installation ?

I'm not sure if I asked this question some time ago... apologises if
it has been answered before... Is there any way to get informed about
when these changes in the building tools take place ?

Cheers,
Adolfo.
