Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Where has http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/m2m/qvtoml/updates/milestones gone?

Hi Michael

http://archive.eclipse.org/mmt/qvto/updates/3.2.0/milestones contains 3.2.0RC1.

http://download.eclipse.org/mmt/qvto/updates/3.2.0/milestones contains 3.2.0RC3.

So the original complaint about http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/m2m/qvtoml/updates/milestones was using a repo that had been stale for two years.

Apologies for only translating the complaint, without exploring the sites first.

Perhaps every project should rename every year to weed out stale client usage...

Hi Michael

I think that you're mistaken. QVTo didn't do an RC2; just RC1 and RC3; both of which are visible on http://www.eclipse.org/mmt/downloads/index.php?project=qvto.

The m2m/qvtoml/updates tree was moved across to http://archive.eclipse.org/mmt/qvto/updates; it has not yet been pruned;  I can see no sign of any post 3.0 build there; i.e. no 3.1.0, no 3.1.1M4, no 3.2RC1, no 3.2RC3. It would appear that maintenance of P2 repos by builds failed a couple of years ago. Fortunately, QVTo has been rather 'stable'.

I'll keep looking.

Ed,

Try http://download.eclipse.org/mmt/qvto/updates/milestones.

The update site at ../mmt/* contains the 3.0.0 (3.0.0RC4 S201006080752) as a latest version.
The previous location had at least 3.2.0RC2, at least GMFT that requires range of [3.1.0, 4.0.0) was able to build against the Juno version.

Can you please check this?

Apologies for the trouble caused by Machine-to-Machine usurping our name.

No worries, I'm glad that you're always there ;-)
