Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Status and Outlook for Indigo RC4 +3

We use..emf.java to do Java->AMF M2M mapping because it provides a good working ecore model for  arbitrary Java. (We should probably move to MoDisco or something at some point.) We needed to build it because it wasn't available from EMF. I've fixed any reported issues for our version.

I want to note as well that these examples are not intended to be installed in the IDE so I'd rather they not be in the repo.

David,

The bundles from the EMF namespace that are unsigned and missing about.html files (i.e., org.eclipse.emf.java.*) are not coming from the EMF (Core) project. Another project (perhaps AMP?) must be building and contributing these.

Cheers,

Kenn

Almost done?

I wanted to remind everyone these reports, at

http://build.eclipse.org/indigo/simrel/

are recreated several times a day (whenever there is a clean build, and a new staging repo created), so be sure to check that your latest contributions solved all the problems that are supposed to be solved.

Especially the first 4 are most important:

Bundles missing required files

Unsigned bundles

Bundles and Features not using 4 part versions

Consistent, current licenses (SUA) in features

There has been a lot of progress in past few weeks, but, a surprising number of problems, given today is the last day.
I know many still have to contribute their +3 contributions. I'm assuming that will fix a lot of issues, but I see some things in these reports that are not from +3 projects.

Who should look at these reports? Project Leads and PMCs if you have a bundle in any of the following name spaces.
The list would be pretty long if I listed everything, and some projects might miss the fact they were in one of the "top" 4 reports ... so, I hope this summary helps you know if the reports are relevant to you. Some just have one or two bundles in the name space, others have scores of bundles ... and I wasn't sure how to summarize (easily).
