Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Indigo M7 is ready

Morning All,

The download page : http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/index-developer.php is now up with M7 packages.

Still waiting on a +1 from the Linux C/C++ Package, however.

I've "flipped the switch" to turn on M7 common repository approximately 9 AM Eastern, as usual. I'm sure the download site for EPP Packages will be updated for M7 soon.

Please test well ... especially from an "end users" point of view. I'm sure everyone is busy fixing those last few important bugs for RC1, but I also (still) see a lot of "little" things wrong, such as inconsistent licenses, unsigned jars, etc. Please try and make RC1 a true "release candidate" ... you know, as I always say, treat it as through it might really have to be the "release" and try to get things in "final form" by then. That allows some good final testing, without having to be distracted by little things like unsigned jars, etc.

I have re-enabled aggregation build, so those having trouble getting their latest stuff in M7 should feel free to start on RC1 right away. Everyone else can also do "warm-up" contributions before your final one ... which if nothing else, tests your process, to make sure your build/process works as expected ... especially for those of you who still need to sign, pack jars, update licenses, etc.

While we are near the end ... still lots to do!

Thank you all so much,
