Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Request for late re-spin of SR2

The WTP contribution has been updated and the common repo aggregation has been running about 2 hours ... but, it's been pretty variable these days ... taking from 2 to 3 hours to run ... so ... almost there.

Thanks for your patience.

I haven't seen any objects on the mailing list. Now I am wondering whether this re-spin has taken place or not? If this is the case and the new fixed content is available in /releases/maintenance I would start a new build of the packages.

A serious regression[1] has been found in the Dali Java Persistence Tools SR2 candidate.  We think that the severity of the regression justifies a re-spin of SR2.  This re-spin request has the support of the WTP-PMC.   Please see referenced bug for details.

Cost: The rebuild of WTP should be available around midnight tonight (EST) which may impact delivery of the EPP packages by a day, but should not affect the actual GA date.

Benefit: Many users of the Java EE package will require this fix so it is greatly preferable to get this fix into the final SR2 package, rather than providing the fix on an update site.
