Just for completeness, all the servers behind the
Eclipse.org firewall (build.eclipse.org, the Hudsons) all point to
live data for pserver, which is the same as SSH. Only external
pserver connections use the shadow (delayed) copy.
So if anyone runs a build from 'the inside', using pserver will
work reliably.

Thanks for your answers. Unfortunately, we do not (yet) build at
build.eclipse.org, but this issue seems to be another reason to do so.
For now, I'll wait for the pserver to catch up.
Thanks, Ralf

Ralf,
pserver will eventually catch up, but as others have suggested, using
:local:, or using SSH keys is really the way to go.

Hi,
I'm having trouble building the M3 for RAP since the pserver CVS is
out of date. I keep getting "no such cvs tag v20101109_R14-M3" errors
although the tag exists since more than 3 hours. Can the pserver be
synced manually?
I don't wan't to store my ssh password on the build server, thus the
build fetches the code using pserver. Is this a common problem? How do
others hande this?
Thanks, Ralf
