Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Status update

Hi Denis,

can I bother you with two simple questions? :)

Here's a quick update of what's going on:

Signing: I've linked usr/bin/sign to the signing process, so it should work for everyone now
1) It should be /usr/local/bin/sign, correct?
2) Why is the performance of signing so lower than before? Since the new machine is better than the older one, it should also be faster, right?

Thanks for your attention, again! :)

Newsgroups: this is the same hassle I went through last month when I upgraded the build server.  The NNTP server is a relic of the 80's and is very difficult to work with.  I'll try to get it going today, but I'll have to find a suitable replacement.  This is just crazy.

Hudson: We won't be reinstalling Hudson on build.eclipse.org since it was scheduled to be retired.  All the old jobs should be re-created on hudson.eclipse.org.  If you wish to do this, please open a bug against Community>Hudson, clearly stating for which project, and the job name you were using.

I'll be tackling other build-related bugs today.  Stay tuned.
