[cross-project-issues-dev] download.eclipse.org disk space

Greetings,

As you can see in the attached picture, disk space on download.eclipse.org has skyrocketed in the last few months.  We're using 500 GB on download.eclipse.org. Our massive footprint stresses available disk space on mirror sites.  It is not uncommon for mirror sites to silently 'delete' their Eclipse mirror because it is taking too much disk space.

Please clean up your downloads area.  Thanks.

Here are some rough guidelines that you can follow:
- You can keep 2 weeks' of Nightly builds (where a Nightly build occurs once per 24 hour period)
----> alternatively, nightly builds should be stored on the build server for faster download

- You can keep a few integration builds

- Stable builds should be removed after a release build has been published

- You can keep Release builds indefinitely, but older ones (> 2 releases ago) should be moved to archive.eclipse.org, which is not mirrored

- Please clean up your TEMP and TEST and OLD directories if they are no longer used

You can view the current list of files being mirrored at the link below.  This list is not the complete list of files on download.eclipse.org -- just those files going to mirrors.

Thank you for spending a few moments in your downloads area to ensure we're only mirroring what is needed.
