No. As long as you do not change what ever the .build file is pointing to. 

The only requirement is that the build continues to work (after release) 
and we can reproduce the same build. 
As long as your .build files "points to" the right content, and that 
content
exists of course, then you are fine. 

Some of us move content from a temporary site, such as 'milestones' to 
'updates' 
and then, eventually, delete 'milestones'. That would break the build, if 
the .build 
file still pointed to the /milestones repo.
