Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Suggestion - release-related concalls coming up to milestones and Galileo endgame

We discussed this on the last Planning Council call.

What we ended up with was - week of 6th April, when Rich
gets back in the office, there will be a call that is
purposed just towards the build, so we can get things
in order again. Then, if necessary, we can schedule
ad-hoc calls for more build discussion.

David mentioned that IRC is a useful just-in-time
communication mechanism for questions - and if there
is something that cannot be resolved there, then we
can arrange a just-in-time conference call or skype
conference.

On most IRC servers, it's easy to auto-create comms
channels, so I suggest we use the channel

#eclipse-galileo

on the IRC server irc.freenode.net:6667 for this
purpose.

Using IRC is explained in a number of places on the
web, here are some good ones:

http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-use-IRC-Internet-Relay-Chat/
http://gameservers.multiplay.co.uk/help/irc-guide/
http://www.irchelp.org/irchelp/irctutorial.html

and of course

http://wiki.eclipse.org/IRC

There are many IRC clients available, and if you are
unable to punch through your firewall, you can access
through a browser at

http://www.mibbit.com/chat/

best regards
