Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Suggestion - release-related concalls coming up to milestones and Galileo endgame

We discussed this at the 3/22 Planning Council meeting, and decided we
(the Planning Council) didn't need more frequent meetings.

But, we acknowledge there might be a need for the Galileo (virtual) build
team to have more frequent phone calls (which is not exactly the same as
the planning council ... it would include more people, and some different
reps).

So ... that brings us to another question: Is anyone willing to organize
and lead these build meetings? It doesn't have to be me! (right?) I hate
to hog all the fun :) and opportunities.

[cross-project-issues-dev] Suggestion - release-related concalls coming up

During the Europa release, if I am not mistaken, there were
bi-monthly conference calls between the project leads for
the Release Train projects. I think it would be a good idea to
take that practice up again for this Galileo release. At the
very least, it can allow us an opportunity to have a high-bandwidth
exchange on issues arising with the build. I realize that it
would be one more meeting on a set of already busy
schedules, but if everything is ticking over nicely, then it
will be quick. If things aren't in a good state, then we need
to talk about it.

Do you think this would be useful?

 best regards
   Oisin
