Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] JAR signing

Thanks a lot Martin, that's what I was missing.

Cheers,
Rüdiger

Hello Rüdiger,

you must have applied for jar signing privilege
with the Webmaster, or you cannot sign jars on Eclipse. Every project can name 2 jarsigners.

The webmast will then send you an E-Mail with
exact instructions.

Basically, he will create a special directory for you on build.eclipse.org where only you have permission to place files:
  /home/data/httpd/download-staging.priv/your/project/name/

That's where you put the files before you invoke
the "sign" shellscript on build.eclipse.org

Cheers,

thanks for the link. Though, that one I encountered before.

It says:
   When is signing done?
     [...]
     3. Send build output to eclipse.org for signing

Maybe it is getting to late in the day, but I don't get the clue.
* where exactly do I have to send the build output to?
* how am I notified that signing is done?
* where to obtained the signed jars from?

Subject: [cross-project-issues-dev] JAR signing

Hi,

could anyone give me a hint where to find information on
how to get JARs signed 'manually' by the Eclipse Foundation.
I vaguely remember some push-and-pull process but cannot
find the doc anymore...
Thanks in advance
Rüdiger
