Scott,
I ran the build again - green. So I say "random errors that occurs sometimes and we don't know why".
As for the http://build.eclipse.org/ganymede/ page showing failure while the cruise control page shows success? That's because we haven't set up cruise control to detect our failure message and thus if cruise control completes the job, it is happy. Even when the completed job is not.  Believe the http://build.eclipse.org/ganymede/ page.
