Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] I see weird things happening in ourSVN repo

Perhaps calling it "SVN_FAQ" rather than "SVN_Development_Guide" would make it more easily community-contributed. Or perhaps both -- the former as a child (and link on) the latter. That way the growing FAQ could be digested into a dev guide later on; in the meantime, the dev guide could be links to other sites for more info about SVN, links to the two SVN enabling plugins (and the PDE SVN mapfile plugin), etc.

Don't forget to add a [Category:SVN] for these pages!

+1

and, since I think that this misbehaviour may just come from a
lack of knowledge, I'd love to see kind of a "Development Guide"
for SVN. What SVN client is recommended, what special settings
are needed, how to manage the Repository, how to migrate from CVS.

Thomas, you seem knowledgeable, could you start such a thing on
the Wiki? Even if it's just a few lines of advice like you just
posted, it would be a start. Then, other folk (from Subclipse,
or webmasters or Releng Gurus) could add their pieces of knowledge.

That would be really cool!
Thanks,
Martin
