[cross-project-issues-dev] Re: [eclipse.org-planning-council] Europa Fall Maintenance Build: Platform is Green, Modeling is still RED

Bjorn,
We normally publish a build Wednesdays so I think maybe Nick was waiting
until then. He just got back from vacation yesterday, so I think he's
still trying to surface from the backlog. I'll confirm all these
assumptions today...

Platform
The interesting thing about the failing platform build was that *I* had
caused the error when I switched the ep-features.xml file from using an
http: access to the Platform update site to a direct file access to the
Platform update site (url:
http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/updates/3.3milestones/site.xml vs file:
/bfreeman/downloads/eclipse/updates/3.3milestones/site.xml) - the direct
file access caused the failure whereas the url succeeds. The url and the
file access should be identical, so I'm a bit puzzled about the cause here,
but at least I've solved it - sorry Kim.
Modeling
You guys said that you would switch back to normal urls so that
Europa-matic would work. When might that be happening?
Thanks,
Bjorn
