[cross-project-issues-dev] Eclipse 3.4 - removal of org.eclipse.tomcat p

During the 3.3 cycle, Eclipse help starting
running on jetty instead of tomcat.  We polled the community to see
if removing this the tomcat plugin during the 3.3 cycle  would cause
downstream teams any issues.  Several teams remarked that it would
be a problem, so we agreed to defer the removal of the tomcat plugin until
the 3.4 development began.   Development in the 3.4 stream has been
ongoing for fewl weeks and yesterday I removed the tomcat plugin from the
platform feature.

If other teams still require tomcat,
I would them to  contributing the version of the tomcat bundle they
require to Orbit so a consistent version is consumed by all Eclipse projects.
