[cross-project-issues-dev] cross-project strategy for NL translation pac

Hello,

The IBM CDT team is planning on contributing NL translation packs for CDT.
In the spirit of openness, and also to prevent discontinuities as
potentially different teams might work on translations for future release
of CDT, we are planning on placing the source to these in CDT's CVS
repository.

We (CDT) thought it would be a good idea if there was some sort of unified
strategy across projects to provide translation packs in CVS, standardize
on their structure in CVS, etc., so that there is a common interface (so to
speak) for consumers of language packs.  Is there any interest in pursuing
this, particularly from the Platform?
