RE: [cross-project-issues-dev] Some numbers on Callisto -- around 210Megs

I have been comparing the batik_1.5.1.v200602281 plugin and the batik 1.6.0 plugin in the GMF project.  It seems that the batik 1.6.0 plugin contains a subset of the jars in the batik_1.5.1.v200602281 plugin.   Specifically the batik 1.6.0 plugin is missing the following jars.

pdf-transcoder.jar
xerces_2_5_0.jar
xml-apis.jar

I checked the batik 1.6.0 site and it seems that these jar files are part of the batik 1.6.0 distribution.  In order for TPTP to move over to batik 1.6.0 I would need to include the above files as part of the plugin.

Richard, could you help me process the above jar files to get them into the batik 1.6.0 plugin?

Thanks,

Sheldon

I opened a TPTP bug to update the org.apache.batik_1.5.1.v20060228151 to 1.6.0 (https://www.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=131698).

On another note I will be creating a similar batik plugin for BIRT.

Thanks,

Sheldon

GMF ships the 1.6.0 version of Batik.  I believe the other is from TPTP.

[cross-project-issues-dev] Some numbers on Callisto -- around 210Megs

Just FYI, I did some quick counts of what Callisto currently is .... and, remember these are just "runtimes" (does not include source, or "ISV documentation").

44 features listed in udpate site (28 I think from TPTP! (bug opend)).

87 features installed
4 MBytes (5 MB on disk, on my windows, ntfs drive)

565 total plugins

205 MBytes (216 Mb on disk)

      431 jarred plugins

134 unjarred plugins (please ... jar up if at all possible .. if anyone needs help doing this, please ask).

      56 plugins without manifest.mf files!
(birt and datatools only, ... bugs already opened)

Duplicates:

The last three pairs on this list were known in advance, and the BIRT and Datatools teams have said
will be corrected next milestone.

The first one surprised me, though ... I'm not sure who is contributing "org.apache.batik"?
Given the major version differs ... sounds like could cause problems at runtime?
