Re: [cdt-dev] new console incompatibilities?

The standard console view is still available just as before.

The new debugger console view just holds the GDB console right now but can be extended to hold other consoles if you want to move your consoles to it.

That being said, your other consoles should work just like before.

What exactly do you see different?

the assumption that there is only one console is false.

the GNU ARM Eclipse debug plug-ins also start J-Link/OpenOCD/QEMU as local GDB server, and these processes have their consoles. actually 'had' their consoles, since they are no longer visible.
