Hi all,

 

When trying to revive an old and rarely used build job on hudson, we (from the Scout team) had to adapt the ANT_OPTS and ANT_ARGS settings. http.nonProxyHosts and ftp.nonProxyHosts were set to

 

172.30.206.*|*.eclipse.org

 

Those settings resulted in log entries like this one:

/shared/common/apache-ant-1.8.4/bin/ant: line 332: *.eclipse.org: command not found

 

In case anyone else might come along this issue: Adding a backslash in front of the pipe resolved it.

172.30.206.*\|*.eclipse.org
