Re: [4diac-dev] 4diac Releases

Dear All,

as I haven't got any negative response to my request I just set the official release data to Oct 1. with a first release candidate on Sept 1. This marks als the
feature freeze phase.

As part of the release preparation we should also finally migrate to EPL V2.0. Not only are we rather late with this but EPL 2.0 is much better for us so I
think it is very natural that we do it quick. I had a first check on the documentation and the migration should mostly be a search and replace as just the main
Copyright header changes. The rest are just minor adjustments in some of the files. I've create 2 Bugs (one for 4diac IDE one for 4diac FORTE) to track this.

As you have seen I've also made the 1.10.3 release. It took a bit longer as the access to the download server is now a bit more secure and I used this to
migrate some of the release process steps to Jenkins. This makes releasing much easier. See the updated release engineering docs in our wiki for details [3].

Cheers,
Alois
