There is a couple of bugs about that top level name 'eclipse' being something other than 'eclipse',
apparently being fixed in RC1. https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=231178
So, you should leave that as 'eclipse' for now.

And, they are making great stride in startup times, but those are known issues. I'd say if you still see really bad performance in RC1 to open some new bugs at that point.

Any negative experiences you have should be reported as bugs as there's some very "fresh" code being used in the platform and we appreciate all the early eyes and fingers on it as we can.
