I posted this in the Eclipse.Newcomers newsgroup, and it was suggested
that I
ask here instead. So:
Win XP platform. WebSphere Application Server community Edition 2.0
Geronimo 2.0
Tomcat 6.0
servers defined to Eclipse.
If I select a jsp page and run as -> run on server and select Tomcat, all
is fine.
If I select either Geronimo 2.0 or WACE - nothing happens. All of the
servers I can start just fine from
the server view, it appears,as it reports "running" and I see no errors in
the console.
In all three cases, when I select a server in server view - 'Initialize
server status" is greyed out.
So something is amiss - perhaps not an Eclipse issue at all?
Additionally. when I go to the details
view for the WebSphere server -> run configuration it shows Apache
Geronimo 2.0 Server
at localhost as the server....perhaps this free version of WebSphere is
more Geronimo than WebSphere
and having the Geronimo 2.0 server installed is confusing it?
