[news.eclipse.tools] Adding extension point

I upgraded to 2.1.1 and lost the ability to add extension points (or maybe I
just don't know how to do it in the new version). New item in Extensions
pull down menu always offers me just Generic option. For example for
popupMenu extension point I don't have viewContributor and objectContributor
elements any more. Maybe I missed something important?
Of course I still can add extension point manually by editing plugin.xml.
