[news.eclipse.tools] bug report: Smart cursor positioning at line start and end

Under the followed menu
preferences:java:Editor:Typing:Smart cursor positioning at line start and
end

not effected.

I think the editor should place my cursor based on last line which I pressed
"enter key", it it not effected.

anybody found this?

I use stable version of eclipse, M1 version.
