Hello,

I am trying to integrate a swing based ontology editor with Eclipse. I have
created a java file which when run independently works absolutely fine
within the Eclipse platform. However, I want to initiate the class when I am
using the plug-in. I want the editor to recognise that its a 'xyz'
extension, and then open the external editor i already have to edit that
file with the 'xyz' extension.

One of the ways of initiating an external editor was to use launcher or
command attribute in the extension tags in plugin.xml. However I get a error
saying that the class was not found. Can anybody let me know how to go about
doing this.

I would like to know if there are some examples somewhere which tell me how
to launch the external editor within Eclipse.
