[news.eclipse.tools] problem checking out java project from cvs

Hi,

i have a small problem checking out a certain java project from our cvs
server. For some reason i do not get a "New Project" Dialog when i do a
"Check Out AS...", so it is not possible for me to tell eclipse to handle
the project as java project which is very annoying, since i cannot compile
the project properly. Is this a bug, or am i missing something ? Is there
a way to tell eclipse that is has to handle the project as java project
after checking out the project ?

When i try to check out other projects with "Check Out As..." i get
the "New Project" Dialog without any problem, and there i can select
the java project. Everything works fine there. As i said the problem
occurs only for some projects.

Any help is really appreciated.
