[news.eclipse.tools] Re: Is Eclipse right for this task???

Well,
It wouldn't do anyting that anyone who has ever looked here before would
find usefull. Actually it is a design tool for a particular type of folk
art. I just don't se any reason to reinvent the wheel and I have a working
knowledge of writing eclipse plugins, so I figured what the hell. Not a
plugin that is particularly useful to any other group than my mothers
friends/competitors(they are folk artists). All of them have little money
and all of them use expensive software that does not work well.
I have used the SWT printing API and I think I can get enough control from
that. I could also use FO to create pdf's that are laid out correctly.
Thanks,
Jake T.
