Well, GTK is better than Motif. At least, better looking :-). I don't
know about the speed though. I am using the latest release, GTK version
(2.1) on an Athlon XP machine with 512 MB RAM with KDE 3.1.1 and it
works fine. 

So I suggest the GTK version.
