Wouldn't it be possible to make a GPL port of SWT? AFAI understand,
I can take CPL code and put it anywere, so why not into GPL? Or does
the SWT Api need to be GPL'ed then too?

AFAIR there is already a QT Port of SWT, but just with a non-GPL
lizenz of QT. If the above is possibel, can't this SWT Port be
double lizenzed as QT itself is? -> 'The Community' can get it from
a place elsewhere as eclipse.org and commercial products must anyway
buy a QT lizens (or isn't it that IBM sold a QT version of their
eclipse based product?).

Sorry for this question, I must say, that I have no real insight
into all this lizens business, but this questions are bugging me
since I first read about the QT port of SWT and the following
discussion.

Thanks for any answer,

Jan
