The need for this functionality doesn't explain why the old toggle buttons
are gone.
The whole point of having a filter mechanism it to be able to change it to
find what you want. With the new dialog, it is faster simply to look
through *all* fields than it is to:
1) drop down a View menu
2) Click on the menuitem for the dialog
3) Find and click on the check box
4) Press OK.
In 2.0 I could hide statics with *ONE* click. No I must make 4 clicks in 4
different locations in the screen.
