No Randy, it is not a joke. There were requests for this level of control, and we supplied it. If you look at other debuggers, they also provide this level of control. If it intimidates you, why not set it the way you like it and forget about it? The + & - buttons allow you to turn on and off entire rows and columns. This allows you to make the same decisions as under the old style interface in the same number of mouse clicks. The only difference is that now, if you want to, you can make the settings more finely grained.

There is NO WAY I need this level of control:
Please bring back the simple toggle buttons for final and static, on
the variables local toolbar. Using this dialog takes more time than
it saves.
