In what way is the Motif version "dead ugly" compared to the GTK version?
On my PC they look almost identical, see:

I agree that the GTK version is more polished, but I much prefer to work
with the Motif version, mainly because of the speed... my only complaint
about the Motif version is the dead the mouse wheel, the Eclipse folks
could learn a thing or two with the NEdit programmers in this regard.

Yep ...a SWT port to QT/KDE would rock.
I seem to remember that a effort to port SWT to QT was underway, do you know
where can I check for progress?
