Grant,
I had FreeType 2.1.3 installed but it was from Mandrake's cooker.
So I uninstalled it and installed 2.0.9. The faq says
2.1.2 is needed but I didn't find an rpm available for Mandrake.
Nevertheless, eclipse starts now! (even with 2.0.9)
I'll just have to go back to Mozilla 1.1.
Thanks,
Phil
