[news.eclipse.tools] M4 Java project creation

I was trying to create a new Java project and went through the steps of
defining the project directory and then defining source directories. Then,
at the point when normally I would click "finish" to complete the generation
of the project, I saw something that I did not like and decided to cancel
the project creation with the "Cancel" button.

After canceling the project I found that the .project file was left in the
project directory. Is this intended behaviour or is it a bug. If it is a bug
I will create a Bugzilla report.
