hum,
1) this is a new feature as the launcher now uses the 'real' Main to launch 
eclipse
2) the splash screen is the default splash screen meaning that no primary 
feature has been found, we know about the issue and are working on it
3) Even if the splash screen shows, there is no reconciliation under the 
cover
