Yes, it were posts from (nick at octet.com) under "[SWT] PATCH, new widget.
(was Re: [SWT] Table disable
selection)"  subject. One with spinner (updown control contains some useless
code) and tablecolorer implementations for windows, and initial formlayout
optimization (to honor flushCache parameter). And the second one with
further formlayout optimization (it caches calculations to avoid N^2
algorithm).

Actually I've got third edition of formlayout patch that also avoids
unnecessary FormAttachment creation and simplifies FormAttachment
calculations for common cases, but its benefits are minor in comparison with
previous optimizations.
