I don't think you misunderstood. I wanted to fix the Local History. I didn't
want to copy the project, just fix them all. The old "Local History" has
been lost, but at least it's working again (I hope)

I thought maybe that the workbench would re-create the .index file again
since I deleted it. I guess this means that Eclipse doesn't contain the
Local History in the .index file.
