[news.eclipse.tools] Can't start eclipse

I run Eclipse on Linux but it hung 

in console I see:

Error reading platform info file
Reason:
Plugin descriptor is null
Error reading product info file
Reason:
Plugin descriptor is null


What does it mean?
It's very "informative" messages

Where can I find this plugin descriptors?

BTW
When I run it as root all seems OK
