[news.eclipse.tools] Protection violations during debug

I'm running under Win2K and using PDE on eclipse 20011107 and 20011106.  My
target eclipse is of release 1.0 vintage (136a).  My runtime vm and
libraries are those shipped with the target.  I'm experiencing what appear
to be random deaths in the target eclipse during debug.  I get a java core
dump and a Win2K message saying that a memory cannot be "read".  Running the
target works fine.

Is anyone else using PDE on R2 to develop R1 plugins?  If so, have you seen
these symptoms when debugging?
